Kalami Beach Taverna is our family business, ideally situated on the beachfront of Kalami with fantastic views of the bay. Since 1980 we have welcomed locals and international visitors introducing them to traditional home-cooked food. We strongly believe that Greek cuisine is equivalent to the fantastic flavour and taste that traditional recipes offer to the lovers of delicious home-cooked food.

Greek food is considered one of the healthiest types of Mediterranean cooking, as it is based on delicious fresh and natural ingredients. The food varies depending on the region of Greece. In the Ionian Islands you can discover recipes with unique flavours; especially Corfiot cuisine, which is a tasteful combination of Greek and Venetian dishes.

Kalami is one of the most well-known horseshoe-shaped bays of the northeast coast of Corfu, surrounded by lush, green hills. Nestled on the shores of the Ionian Sea, Kalami has preserved its natural beauty and Greek traditional style.

At Kalami Beach Taverna, our cooking is based on our labour of love, the experience and the quality of natural ingredients and fresh products. For that reason, we have created a garden in Yaliskari, an unspoiled bay between Kalami and Agni. Here, we nurture seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs which provide the base of our recipes. During the winter, we collect olives from 500 trees for the production of our olive oil. On a daily basis our fishing boats, Nikolakis and Georgotzis, supply the taverna with fresh fish to the taverna from the crystal clear waters of Ionian Sea. Seafood features strongly in our menu along with tasty meat and vegetarian dishes. Mum Frosso and our Chef work hard in the kitchen to ensure that every dish is excellent. Our chef creates a special dish every day with seasonal ingredients, allowing you to enjoy a unique combination of Mediterranean and Greek flavours.

We invite you to the taverna, to taste our homemade specialities accompanied by a glass of velvety wine in a relaxing environment under the refreshing pergola.
