Dimitris is working on vegetating his land to provide the fresh fruit and vegetables for the taverna. You may also see him in his small boat, whilst fishing with nets for white bait and sardines.
Frosso is still the heart of the kitchen. For 30 years she has been offering the most delicious dishes prepared with the knowledge and the love of typical Greek traditional cooking.
Nikos continues to successfully run the family taverna and upholds the family values of offering the widest choice of excellent home-cooked food at reasonable prices.
George is a skilled fisherman, who contributes by supplying fresh fish to the taverna every day.

Begin your meal with some of our mouth-watering hot or cold starters, and accompany them with a glass of wine or beer. Do not forget to sample tzatziki or olive paste, the tasty briam, baked feta cheese, village sausage and for those who enjoy seafood, we suggest taramosalata, octopus in vinegar, shrimp or mussel saganaki or fried sardines.
To accompany your main course, a salad is always a healthy and tasteful dish. The Greek salad is the most popular, whilst fresh boiled vegetables with olive oil and lemon are a great accompaniment to fish dishes.
For meat lovers, we would recommend that you follow on with the most famous Greek dish of Lamb Kleftiko which is very popular with our regular customers, or the traditional Corfiot dishes such as Rooster Pastitsada and Sofrito. The sophisticated blend of the traditional Greek cuisine with the Mediterranean flavors creates some of the most delicious dishes. Enjoy the meat of your choice grilled or cooked with the aroma and flavour of the fresh ingredients produced by the Greek land. A tender fillet steak grilled to perfection is always a delicious option; enjoy it cooked in its own juices or with one of our special sauces.
The taste of Sea on your dish! Fish and Seafood lovers will thoroughly enjoy the wide variety of fresh fish that is caught daily by George. Every day George searches the Ionian Sea on his fishing boats Nikolakis and Georgotzis for the best quality fish and seafood which you can enjoy cooked to your preference. You have the choice to taste the fresh fish prepared using traditional Corfiot recipes of Bourdeto or Bianco. For an extra special seafood meal, why not try one of the most famous and exceptional seafood dishes of Lobster Pastitsada or Scorpion Fish Bourdeto.
To add an extra special flavour, we have personally selected wines of different varieties of grapes which are harvested from the vineyards around Greece offering you an excellent selection of red, white and rose wines. The local wine also compliments a traditional Corfiot meal very well.
A perfect meal is never complete without a good dessert. Greek yoghurt and honey, homemade crepes, or ice creams are just some of the delicious desserts on our menu, which can ideally be finished off with a coffee and brandy of your choice.
If you just fancy a drink, then we have a fantastic array of drinks for you. Beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, juices and soft drinks are just a few of the drinks you can choose from.
After your meal, relax and enjoy the marvellous views. The Taverna is ideally situated on the beach, and you have the whole horseshoe–shaped Kalami, Albania and the South part of Corfu Island laid out in front of you. What more could you ask for!!

Kalami Beach Taverna is ideally located on beachfront of Kalami bay. Kalami is 32 km from Corfu Town and 8 km from the famous Kassiopi.
Quick Driving instructions
As you drive on the main road to northern Corfu, you will find on your right hand a crossroad and the sign “Kalami – Kouloura”. You turn right and follow the road all the way down, turn right on the bottom and this road will lead to Kalami village. As you enter the village of Kalami, you will find on your left hand an open private parking area available for the taverna’s customers. Within 7m you will be at Kalami Beach Taverna. The taverna also has easy access for disabled people.
